A USB adatátviteli kábel lehetővé teszi a vezetékes kommunikációt a Kestrel 5 sorozat bármely modellje és a USB porttal rendelkező Windows/Mac számítógépek között. Használja a kábelt és a Kestrel LiNK szoftvert a firmware frissítések telepítéséhez és a Kestrel által rögzített adatok feltöltéséhez.

A kommunikáció a kábel és a Kestrel között optikai, ezért nem veszélyezteti a Kestrel vízálló tömítését. Ez az egység nem igényel külső tápegységet. Unfortunate that you have to spend an additional 50$ for a fancy USB cable. But it does work well and I can see the advantage of not having to open the battery case or having a usb port (keeps the unit water proof).

Shipping was fantastic, arrived early and customer service was great. Will definitely order again.

A must for data transfers between your computer and Kestrel or you can purchase the USB dongle; nothing extra is needed for data exchanges between your phone and Kestrel as long as you have the LINK model Kestrel and blue tooth on your phone activated.
