This battery door is a Kestrel battery door which will fit any Kestrel basic (1000-3550) Meter. It is not universal and will not fit any other manufacturers meters. Nor did we imply it would fit another manufacturers meter. I would suggest you contact Brunton for a replacement.

Little to say. It was satisfying to discover suppliers of the part on line and this particular supplier was reasonably prompt and reasonably priced. My Kestral is now whole again.

Important: The 1000-3550 models fit only current meters, not original flat-top and bottom models made 10-20 years ago.
