Honestly, I ended up messing the screen protector up when I pulled the Kestrel out of the box. Either the unit wasn’t new, or someone in the shipping department is taking it upon themselves to install the screen protectors before shipping. My screen protector was already installed when I received my Kestrel. I peeled it off thinking it was like any other electronic device and had a clear film over the screen for shipping. When I opened the package for the screen protector, it was empty. Basically, I need to order a new screen protector.

Sturdy Product
I am glad that I chose to purchase the Kestrel weather meter. The product itself is very sturdy and bang for your buck. Also allkestrel.com was a pleasure to deal with. Very fast postage and great prices.

Very good wind meter. Easy to use. Intuitive Controls
I found the Applied Ballistics Kestrel to be very easy to use and it is very intuitive. I don't think that I would purchase the blue tooth model again. The main reason is that the computer program that it communicates with is so weak that there really isn't any point. Just set up your rifle and your load data directly into the meter. All in all it is an excellent unit.

Screen Protector
These screen protectors work well and really protect the screen. I carry may unit everywhere and the screen still looks like new.
