Kestrel 3500 portabel vädermätare

The Kestrel 3500 I ordered from Extreme Meters arrived quickly. It is very intuitive and user friendly. Different data fields are easy to navigate. I also really like the protective hard case and lanyard that it comes with, it is durable, while being compact and easy to carry.

I had been wanting this Kestrel 3500 for a while. Extreme Meters’ price was as good as I’ve found so I ordered from them. It shipped immediately and was in my hands in just a couple of days. As an amateur naturalist it’s important for me to document accurate weather conditions when recording species that I find in the field. The 3500 gives me all the pertinent data that I need.

Unit is easy to carry, easy to view and easy to operate. The short description that precedes each measurement display is very handy.

Love carrying it on my daily dog walks.

It is exactly what I needed, nothing complicated or too fancy.

I had a Kestrel before and loved it. Unfortunately, I forgot and left the batteries in it when I stored it and it became ruined. The new Kestrel has solved that problem by using button batteries instead of flashlight batteries. My new one? It works great!

Works perfectly. The altitude/barometric pressure instructions (including station and barometric pressure) were a bit confusing.

I hope that the wind wind meter is up to the place that is accurate other than that I think it is a very good tool for me

AllKestral was great, my anemometer is okay. My recommendation is to spend the extra money and get all the features available.

It is everything I had hoped for

Exactly what I needed, good instructions and simple to use. This gets me the data needed to enter into my ballistic calculator.

This is the perfect meter to use when calculating long distant shots for sport or hunting. It allows the user to use the other tools required and marries up with the other support equiptment that I have for doing so. Awesome tool and I love its use with temp, dew point, altitude, temperature and wind velocity and direction. Helps me in calculating as well, windage, horizontal and vertical corialis, temperature corrections, humity corrections, as well as barometric pressure corrections.

It's an excellent item. I used the Kestrel 2000 before, but I wanted to upgrade

My application is long range shooting. The 3500 offers all of the real time atmospheric condition measurements needed to precisely calculate a ballistic solution. I chose this model over the 4500 because I don't need logging functions. The 4500 models with Horus and Applied Ballistic software were also not needed because there are free online ballistic software sources that allow you to print out detailed solution tables. Nothing beats the reliability of laminated paper in the field. The 3500 represents the best value of the Kestel line in my opinion. It is built to the same quality standards as their meters costing almost 3 times as much, it's extremely simple and fast to use, and offers only the features I need and none that I don't. As far as weather meters go Kestrel in my mind is the only option. Thanks for a good product.

I loved it!!

My only dislike is my fault. I'd prefer the non night vision version. But it works great! My first day of use I compared the measurements with the local weather stations and it was right in the money.

My husband loves this weather meter! He uses it for astronomy to help determine dew point. The faint red backlight is perfect for maintaining night vision at the scope. He said it was one of the most unexpected yet perfect birthday presents!

I havent really used my meter out in the field other than playing with it around town to get used to it. I like it very much and have recommended it to several other shooters.
The only thing I found lacking was a small amount of needed memory for the main readings, especially the barometer, temperature, and wind for this model, so you could turn off the meter and then reference reading later to compare them with fresh one. Of course then we need a clear button. Otherwise I am extremely happy with this meter

I received my Kestrel meter promptly and free of freight charges. The product was 100% as described and worked just like it should out of the box. It's nice that an extra battery was also included.
The case included is strong and well crafted. The meter slides in smooth and locks into place to provide safe and secure storage.
I had ZERO experience with these meters before purchasing this unit. It is very easy to learn and setup if you take 30 seconds and read through the instructions.
I use this meter as a drag racer to record track measurements to help adjust the tune in our cars to stay ahead of the curve. More recently I've begun bringing it with me on other adventures just for fun.
