I have not used that one I got from you. I had one before that I liked very good.

That one I got from you was broken at the shell who hides/close the battery.

What can we do about that?

Hi, Sorry to hear the battery door is broken. We are sending a replacement out right away! Thanks! Mitch

It's a handy item to have, especially on windy days! We will carry it with us on all outdoor outings. The altitude feature is also helpful because- well, we're just always curious about the altitude. Thanks!

Altitude and bars require outside info and then do appear to be reliable. How do I find an accurate although and Baro value?

Great product and AWESOME customer service
This was my very first windmeter. My first impression upon opening the package was that these meters are VERY well made, and have excellent quality. Also, the customer service extended to me from Mike was FANTASTIC! All of my questions were answered, and he was very patient with me. Actually, I was so impressed that I sent the 2500 back and upgraded a top of the line 4500 NV. Couldn't be happier. Well worth the money. Precision product all the way through. Top notch service and products! THANKS! :)

Excellent product
This is my first weather meter of this type. I had been primarily relying on cell phone apps prior to receiving the Kestral. The service, delivery, and packaging was one of the best I have ever dealt with. I use the kestral for hunting and long range shooting, however, now it is always nearby. I have found it to be extremely accurate and dependable. I will definitely be acquiring other products for AllKestral. Thanks again for the excellent service.

My battery "door" is broke, a tab fell off. It is a 2500. Do you sell that part, and if so let me know the details so I can get it going. Thanks

Extreme Meters LLC.

Hi, sorry about your battery door. We do have them here in our Kestrel accessories section of the website.

I'm looking for an instrument that will give a ten minute wind speed average. Will this model ( Kestrel 2500 ) do that? if so what is the process to get it on and from the instrument?

Extreme Meters LLC.

The 2500 will record the average wind speed for as long as it is on. When you turn it on, it will start recording the average wind speed. It will report it on the screen. If you want something to actually record, log and be downloadable, check out the Kestrel 5000 or Kestrel 5500 weather meters. Both store data which can be downloaded either wirelessly (LiNK enabled models only) using the Kestrel smartphone LiNK app or with the help of the Kestrel USB Data Transfer Cable to a PC or MAC.
