Its the battery door for the 4000 series

Its the battery door for the 4000 series. I haven't pushed out the pin to replace the broken one that I have taped close. When I do, the bright green door will fit perfectly. I'd give 4 star cause a matching color wasn't available but that did not matter to me.

Replacing the door was a little bit more involved than it seemed but it wasn't that difficult. I actually had more trouble replacing the lanyard cord as it is stiff and doesn't like to bend in ways that it hadn't been.

My kestrel 4000 has lost the spring for the batteries that attaches to the door.
Does the replacement door have this in place?
