Excellent product
This is my first weather meter of this type. I had been primarily relying on cell phone apps prior to receiving the Kestral. The service, delivery, and packaging was one of the best I have ever dealt with. I use the kestral for hunting and long range shooting, however, now it is always nearby. I'm looking for an instrument that will give a ten minute wind speed average. Will this model ( Kestrel 2500 ) do that? if so what is the process to get it on and from the instrument?

The 2500 will record the average wind speed for as long as it is on. When you turn it on, it will start recording the average wind speed. It will report it on the screen.
